United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Empower Teacher, Empower Education

Our project, titled "Empower Teachers, Empower Education," aligns with SDG-4 (Quality Education) and aims to support the professional growth of teachers. We believe we can improve education at its core by equipping educators with the necessary skills and tools. The primary objectives of this project are to:
1. Empower teachers by providing them with relevant, impactful training.
2. Improve the quality of education through enhanced teaching practices.
3. Highlight our achievements in equipping educators with modern teaching methods.
4. Promote Educational sustainability by ensuring lasting benefits in the classroom.
Key Elements of the Training
Our proposed training session focuses on several critical areas that are essential for effective teaching and learning:
• Lesson Planning: Structured techniques to create well-organized and engaging lessons including the following aspects
o SLOs
o Motivational Activity
o Teaching Session o Assessment Activity

About the Millennium Fellow

Sheeza Shahid is an aspiring educationist and social worker passionate about creating accessible education for disadvantaged communities. With experience as the President of Youth Model United Nations and a research intern at Gallup Pakistan, she has led impactful projects that empower young minds. Sheeza has worked in special education and is dedicated to promoting inclusive learning environments. Her commitment to social justice and leadership continues to inspire her journey toward transforming education for all
