United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

" I am passionate about empowering secondary school students, youth, and women in my community through agriculture. Being part of the Millennium Fellowship will help me enhance these skills collaboratively. The skills I gain from the Millennium Fellowship will make my social impact on schools and communities more tangible and aligned with the UNAI principles and the SDGs. I am excited to increase my anticipatory competence by envisioning new ways of learning and creativity. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Foodtopia_et_Feedanorphan

The project focuses on educating households about food security, food loss, food wastage, and food poisoning. It also provides food resources, backpacks, and reading and writing materials for orphans.

About the Millennium Fellow

Yusuf Abdulakeem is a final-year undergraduate studying agricultural economics at the University of Ibadan. He is passionate about advocating for food security in rural communities. Additionally, he is enthusiastic about technology and has been promoting Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, Figma, and Postman for the empowerment of youth by organizing seminars, workshops, and training sessions for his peers.
