United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Students For Special Hearts

The foundation focuses on improving the lives of children with disabilities and those in orphanage homes by addressing their health, nutrition, education, and overall well-being. Its initiatives align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being), emphasizing care for children with special needs. The organization aims to foster partnerships with larger organizations, promote healthy growth, and equip children with education and skills for a better future.

About the Millennium Fellow

Echezona Philip Nnaemezie is a goal-oriented and dynamic innovator, currently studying Microbiology at the University of Ibadan. He hails from Anambra state, born in Yobe state, and resides in Ibadan, Oyo state, Nigeria.
Echezona has always been extremely passionate about Healthcare, Technology, Entrepreneurship and Leadership. Throughout high school and currently in college years, he has successfully led and collaboratively organized various philanthropic projects promoting Good Health and Well being in his community. Echezona aspires to build a Public Health career, where he can contribute to developing health policies and building affordable healthcare solutions that will advance the United Nations’ Sustainable Goals.
