initiative. I can not alone handle this task except with a collaborative hand. I am so
glad and excited to be part of the Millennium Fellowship as I would be able to learn
more and better ways to approach my initiative and broaden the horizon of my project.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Health in it's Diversification
Our project is centered on preventive health, it aims to provide health education to women in rural communities, it is divisified as it's name implies and focuses on prevention and creating awareness of malaria, breast cancer and cervical cancer in women, it also focuses on sensitization of women on the importance of thr HPV vaccines. It emphasizes the importance of early detection and symptoms.
About the Millennium Fellow
Imanmachukwu Ihewulezi is a Nursing student of the University of Ibadan, Nigeria.
Born and bred in Nigeria, she desires to give back to her community especially to
women and young girls at large via her wellness jackpot campaign and initiative
against breast and cervical cancer. As a nursing student who goes to the clinic often, she is piqued by the number of incidences of cervical and breast cancer of which early detection was a major reason for escalation and poor prognosis. However, via hercampaign, she plans to bring health to the doorstep of every woman and girlchild in
her community and this is in accordance with the United Nations sustainable
developmental goals.
