Millennium Fellowship Project: Women Must Be Heard
The project is focused on SDG 5, gender equality and it seeks to encourage women more on speaking up especially in cases like political ambition and abuse, even with opposition faced by the society and the steps to take in achieving this.
About the Millennium Fellow
Susan Ikeoluwaposi Olalusi is an intelligent, confident and disciplined student of the department of History, Faculty of Arts, University of Ibadan. She was born in Ibadan, Oyo state, on May 22, 2003, she also school's in the same city. Since a very young age, she has been passionate about feminism, advocating for women's rights and she is also passionate about international relations and sports like football, basketball and Judo. This passion of advocating for women's rights had made her constantly speaking up against oppression, sexism. She also ran for a legislative position in her 2nd year in university which she won but it was a one time thing as she also had other leadership positions in the university community, like a board member in JCIN UI and the Obafemi Awolowo Hall Literary and Debating Society. She aspires for a career in international organizations where she can make more impact in accomplishing the United Nations Sustainable Goals
