United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

I'm driven by passion, responsibility and readiness to work in alignment with the UNAl principles to make impact firstly in my school and the world at large. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Orphanage Care

Orphanage care is all about care for orphanages as the name implies. It involves visiting the orphanage homes weekly, getting them provisions and toiletries, making sure they're well taken care of, listening to and understanding their current needs and aiming to meet them; Showing them that they're loved and cared for.

About the Millennium Fellow

Adesina Oluseyi Tantoluwa is an intelligent young professional currently in 500 level at the department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Faculty of Technology, University of Ibadan. She is a Graphics Designer and Database Administrator. She got her training and leadership certificate from Sea School, Apapa Lagos. She has led in various capacities such as in The International School, Ibadan as a prefect and leader of fellowship (ICF), in a Baptist Church as teenage President, in Bowels of Mercy as Secretary, Vice-President and President, in the department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering as course representative (5 years) and Financial Secretary , in the faculty fellowship as Secretary and in IEEE Ul student branch as Head of Programs and Logistics. She got awards at graduation in secondary school as best in Further Maths, second in Mathematics and English. She has interest in writing and the care of orphans and vulnerable children. She has interests in Graphics Design, Energy, Network Engineering, Embedded Systems, Aviation and Aeronautics, Electricity and Electronics. She has the following skills: Expertise in Microsoft Office, Computer and Programming Skills (C#, Fortran, SQL, PostgreSQL, PopSQL and Java), ability to work efficiently with little or no supervision, Writing and Editing Skills, Graphics Design skills and Communication skills. She also has an IEEE-ISV paper Certification. Tantoluwa aspires to be in multiple professional circles that help her contribute to the development of the United Nations' Sustainable Goals. She is passionate about learning and growth.
