" Just as articulated by the esteemed Nelson Mandela, “Education is the most powerful tool that can be used to change the world,” the journey towards transformation commences with individuals and their cognitive frameworks. It is my conviction that a more harmonious society, stripped of criminality and characterized by minimal social vices, can be established when a substantial segment of the population, particularly the youth, is educated, and when the wider community prioritizes educational initiatives. This conviction serves as my impetus, fueling my fervor to engage with young individuals who are eager to acquire knowledge and liberate themselves from the confines of ignorance. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Building Our Future Initiative

The plan of the project is to reach out to students of schools and enlighten them on the benefits of education. During the project execution, my team also engaged them in health talk about antimicrobial resistance and importance of clean water and sanitation in relation to susutainablity

About the Millennium Fellow

Oguntola Oreoluwa is an ambitious and resilient young lady currently in her fourth year of study in the field of forestry at the University of Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. Hailing from Ogbomosho, been nurtured by both parents, my fervor for education is easily understandable, as both of my parents are ardent advocates for education and assist individuals in attaining educational opportunities, particularly my father, an educator. My dedication to education has motivated me to engage in volunteer work for various educational initiatives with the aspiration of establishing NGO aimed at facilitating the achievement of long-term educational goals for young individuals.
