Millennium Fellowship Project: Health in it's Diversification
Our project is centered on preventive health, it aims to provide health education to women in rural communities, it is divisified as it's name implies and focuses on prevention and creating awareness of malaria, breast cancer and cervical cancer in women, it also focuses on sensitization of women on the importance of thr HPV vaccines. It emphasizes the importance of early detection and symptoms.
About the Millennium Fellow
Paul Okpara is an enthusiastic student born and bred in a southwestern state of Nigeria. He has been so passionate about making more discoveries about a sickness that torments him as well as millions of children in Africa, Malaria.
Paul currently studies pharmacy at the university of Ibadan, Nigeria, with keen interest for research in human disease prevention and promotion which he intends to take a bit further as he considers a career in Pharmacy. Paul's knowledge is not limited to science and medicine as he has keen interest in several areas such as finance and technology. He is a campus ambassador of various financial institutions in Nigeria and Africa such as Cowrywise, Yellowcard.
