Millennium Fellowship Project: SustainED
SustainED is a social initiative that aims to reach out to students of secondary schools in their space to educate them on the ways by which sustainability can be encouraged, even as young as they seem. This education will also include action calls and works in order to keep track of the progress of the students.
About the Millennium Fellow
Precious Ogunkeye,is a final year student in the Department of Social and Environmental Forestry, Faculty of Renewable Natural Resources, University of Ibadan, Nigeria, who is delighted to announce his selection as a Millennium Fellow. This prestigious recognition is a testament to his commitment to environmental sustainability.
Precious’ project focuses on addressing climate change through community education. Recognizing the critical role of informed citizenry in combating climate change, he aims to empower communities with the knowledge and tools to mitigate its impacts. His choice of project is rooted in his academic background and her passion for creating a sustainable future.
As an active member of Plogging Nigeria, Precious has gained valuable experience in environmental activism. His participation in numerous volunteer initiatives aligned with his course of study has solidified his dedication to environmental conservation. Through the Millennium Fellowship, Precious seeks to expand his impact and contribute to a greener planet.
