United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Educate Us

EDUCATE US is a initiative comprising students from diverse fields dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of secondary school students in our community. The project is centered around five key areas:Enhancing Digital Literacy,Providing Mentorship for pursuing higher education,Imparting Lucrative Skills,Educating on Nutrition, and Cultivating Effective Communication through public speaking.The approach to achieving these goals involves:Sequentially visiting each secondary school to address the aforementioned objectives,Cultivating partnerships with other relevant stakeholders.

About the Millennium Fellow

Bakati Winner Nasiseme is an Agronomy student at the University of Ibadan. She was born in Bauchi state , resides in the Federal Capital territory Abuja and is currently studying in Ibadan, Oyo state, Nigeria. She is fluent in both Hausa and Igbo. Winner has always been passionate about eradicating food scarcity and that was why she and a group of individuals who had the same goal came together to create the Soilless farm lab Ui cohort movement, where they helped individuals who were passionate about Agriculture to secure slots for training at the Soilless farm lab Abeokuta. The program has been successful ever since it started. She is dedicated to contributing to the development of the United Nations' sustainable goals.
