" I'm excited to be part of the Millennium Fellowship because it offers a unique platform to connect with like-minded changemakers. I'm excited to help make a change in this world and even more excited to be connected to people that want to create an impact for the future generations. As Nelson Henderson said "the true meaning of life is to plant trees under whose shade you do not expect to sit" and I'm thrilled to make this happen with the help of this fellowship! "
Millennium Fellowship Project: A Friendly Hand
A Friendly Hand is an intuitive app designed to give seniors the ability to request on-demand help for a number of different daily activities. Seniors would pay a small subscription fee in exchange for the services that volunteers may offer. Individuals would volunteer because they would receive certification and work experience as well as the fact that it would not be too much of an inconvenience since all they would do is when for example they're going to go shopping, they might take the chance to help an elder on the way.
