" The motivation behind my project stems from a desire to address the financial challenges faced by smallholder farmers in underdeveloped regions, while also encouraging them to adopt sustainable farming practices. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: AgriVisor
AgriVisor is envisioned as an AI SaaS that puts relevant, easy-to-interpret information on the phones of farmers to provide recommendations that instantly boost crop yields and lower carbon emissions. Leveraging satellites, AgriVisor beyond crop recommendations appraises farms with an AgriScore, a carbon rating metric that allows farmers to enter the carbon credit trading market to be rewarded for optimization. We want to focus on tomatoes and rice as the crops we service as they are global and profitable.
