About the Millennium Fellow

Carmen Jiménez Sánchez-Garrido is an intellectually ambitious and motivated student at IE University in Madrid, pursuing a double degree in Law and International Relations.
Growing up in Marbella, a city of people from all walks of life and of many nationalities, Carmen developed an appreciation for cultural diversity, international affairs, and global issues.
During her time at university, she has made the most of opportunities such as internships, pro-bono work, and leadership roles in student associations and NGOs to enhance her understanding of human rights, comparative law, international relations, and policy formulation.
Guided by empathy and her passion for learning, she is wholeheartedly committed to shaping a more sustainable and just society through her academic and professional achievements.
