Millennium Fellowship Project: Campus Carbon Neutral

The Campus Carbon Neutral project aims to reduce the overall carbon footprint of our campus and achieve carbon neutrality through a combination of sustainable practices, awareness campaigns, and technical solutions. A key component of the project has been the development of a web application designed to calculate the carbon footprint of individuals or groups on campus. This tool enables users to better understand their impact and take actionable steps toward reducing emissions.
The project also includes initiatives such as conducting carbon footprint assessments for campus operations, promoting renewable energy usage, implementing energy-saving measures, and organizing workshops to engage the campus community in sustainable practices. By integrating technology and awareness, the project strives to create a model for environmental sustainability that can inspire similar initiatives in other institutions.
