United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: EduReach

The project aims to empower underprivileged children by addressing educational gaps and promoting holistic development. Through providing learning materials, organising interactive workshops and engaging in community- building activities.

About the Millennium Fellow

Rishitha Marlapati is an economics student at the Indian Institute of Technology in Kharagpur, India. With a keen interest in the intersection of economics and sustainability, she actively seeks out courses in environmental economics and sustainable development. She dedicates significant time to researching sustainable business practices and exploring innovative solutions to address environmental challenges. After completing her degree, Rishitha plans to pursue an MBA, aiming to bridge the gap between business practices and environmental conservation. Her goal is to promote sustainable strategies in the corporate world and drive meaningful change on a larger scale.
