Millennium Fellowship Project: Equity Energy
Equity Energy is a project aimed at designing an appropriate mix of materials to absorb and store solar energy and give out energy for lighting and heating systems, when required. The aim is to reduce the dependence on traditional methods using a material that can save solar energy in the form of heat.
About the Millennium Fellow
Skandhan is a dedicated science enthusiast who is eager to contribute to global welfare. He is currently a senior in the Mechanical Engineering program at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. Having grown up in a humble background in the bustling city of Chennai, he derives satisfaction from developing innovative solutions to contemporary challenges. The demand for equitable energy is an increasingly pressing concern; however, it is crucial to take into account the ecological costs associated with energy production and consumption. Therefore, a combination of creativity and a comprehensive understanding of these issues is essential. He aims to contribute to the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.
