Millennium Fellowship Project: Campus In Peace

This project aims to cultivate a generation of young leaders and peacemakers in Latin America, focusing on the transformative power of dialogue and specialized training. Participants will gain expertise in three critical areas—Climate Change Advocacy, Peacemaking Initiatives, and Gender Equality Awareness—equipping them to address pressing social issues and drive positive change in their communities.

About the Millennium Fellow

Juana Valentina Suárez Sánchez is a Political Science student at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and proudly Colombian. Her passion for human rights drives her to focus on helping people deprived of their liberty, especially women, facilitating their reintegration into society. Juana loves pedagogy, as she firmly believes in the power of education to transform lives. For her, love and service are fundamental, and she has been fortunate to meet incredible people along the way. Working in forgotten communities has been a transformative experience, where every small achievement has great meaning. In the future, she dreams of making a real difference in the lives of those she helps, becoming a rights advocate and collaborating with organizations to create effective public policies that promote justice and equity. Juana is ready to face any challenge that comes her way.
