" One of the foremost reasons that has me excited for this fellowship is because of the immense exposure it provides to every fellow. I also believe that for an aspiring policy maker, this program provides valuable insights and opportunities to mitigate the challenges faced by a society as a whole, thereby formulating a plan of action to overcome these issues. In a country where an enormous number of people live under the poverty line, there problems are coupled by varying socio-economic challenges. In this sense, I find it necessary to carve out the work that I intend on in order to address the vast challenges faced by the downtrodden sections of the society. As a young individual, I believe it is necessary for development to reach every corner of the country to realise the vision of a developed nation. In this regard, I am excited to join this fellowship cohort. "
