Millennium Fellowship Project: Green Campus Initiative
The Green Campus Initiative is a local project and model for advancing the SDGs at a grassroots level. We plant trees, collect waste and spread awareness and in the process, are aiming to prove the power of youth driven solutions to global challenges.
About the Millennium Fellow
Betty Moraa Mokaya is a student at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology studying Nursing. She is very passionate about the environment and is usually intentional with keeping the environment clean and sustainable for people at all ages. She desires to create a clean environment and to educate the people around her on the importance of having a clean environment. She is passionate with planting many trees and taking care of them till they grow.
