United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Improving Mental Health

An organisation called Finding hope that will have a website that people can use to reach out on matters pertaining mental health. The organisation will also partner with counsellors and pyschologists.

About the Millennium Fellow

Chrispina Gift John is an ambitious eloquent leader currently pursuing her bachelor of science in Applied Bioengineering at the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology in Nairobi Kenya. She was born and raised in Tanzania but pursued her studies in Kenya. Throughout her academic journey Chrispina has portrayed exemplary leadership skills, she also currently serves as the vice chairperson of the Biochemistry Society in her university where she spearheads several projects. Chrispina also served as a fellow at the Shamiri institute from May to June 2024 where she was able to educate young high-school students on matters concerning mental health. Her eloquency and discipline make her a great team leader as well as team player.
