" At MCN, I get the opportunity to work on a project I'm passionate about to make a positive impact on society. I am delighted to be in the company of other fellows, to learn from one another and to create valuable connections. Through my role as a campus director, I will get to exercise some leadership values such as humility, empathy and inclusivity. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Comrade Wealth Hub
Comrade Wealth Hub is a proposed blog that aims to educate the youthful generation on wealth creation at the early stages of life by optimizing the resources at their disposal. This addresses the limitations on SDG goal 1: No poverty. The blog also will create awareness on financial literacy through personalised articles on the subject.
About the Millennium Fellow
Grace Ochieng is an undergrad student at JKUAT pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. She is passionate about technology and she desires to integrate her tech skills in creating social impact. She is enthusiastic about SDG goal 1 as she has witnessed a struggle to alleviate poverty in her immediate environment. She wishes to empower herself and other youths to embrace building wealth from a young age. She hopes that through sharing resources and mentorship, the level of poverty in the society can be greatly reduced. She aims to mentor the youth through her blog where she'll also share the resources available at hand to build those who will interact with her blog.
