Millennium Fellowship Project: Creating a Smile in a Child's Heart
Children are passionate about being loved and heard. The increasing number of the children in children homes leads to lack of space and congestion in the homes. This is one of the factors that is leading them to run away and find themselves in the streets as they find their requests not heard. This is an attributing factor to the high numbers of children in the streets in the country. Some see these children as thieves and cheaters, but this is not the case. The project seeks to help the children find compassion in the homes by creating a space for them to be heard and helped. The project also aimed at helping the homes get enough supplies such as food and necessities to ensure that the children are comfortable in their homes. The project aimedat equipping the homes with enough rooms and utilities so as to avoid congestion.
