Millennium Fellowship Project: Green Campus Initiative
The Green Campus Initiative is a local project and model for advancing the SDGs at a grassroots level. We plant trees, collect waste and spread awareness and in the process, are aiming to prove the power of youth driven solutions to global challenges.
About the Millennium Fellow
Sharlene Mutheu Cosmus is a 19-year-old Kenyan student at Jomo Kenyatta University of Kenya. She is a dedicated Christian and a passionate advocate for environmental sustainability. Sharlene's commitment to eco-friendly practices is evident in her jewellery business, which strives to incorporate sustainable and environmentally conscious methods. As a participant in the Millennium Fellowship UN 2024, she is actively engaged in initiatives that promote environmental awareness and positive community impact. With aspirations of working as a corporate communication and management specialist, she aims to influence organizations to adopt sustainable practices and uphold her vision for a healthier, greener future.
