United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: ClearCurrent

ClearCurrent is an impactful initiative focused on educating society about climate change and promoting environmental stewardship. The project emphasizes practical measures such as preventing blocked drainages to mitigate health risks like waterborne diseases, while also advocating for eco-friendly practices to reduce the environmental footprint.
Leveraging creative outreach methods, ClearCurrent aims to inspire individuals and communities to adopt sustainable habits that safeguard the environment and enhance public health. With a focus on raising awareness and driving actionable change, ClearCurrent serves as a bridge between education and collective action for a greener, healthier future.

About the Millennium Fellow

Victoria Chepkoech Rotich is a passionate engineering student at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. She has an interest in Robotics, AI/ML and IoT. Victoria has always had a passion of giving back the community for as long as she could remember.
