Millennium Fellowship Project: Project on Period Poverty

Period poverty refers to the lack of access to essential menstrual products, adequate sanitation facilities, and proper education about menstruation due to financial, social, or cultural barriers. It impacts millions of menstruators worldwide, especially those in low-income communities.
This project was all about raising awareness, educating girls and tackling stigma which in turn leads to improved health quality, gender equality and a collective community empowerment.
