Kabarak University | Nakuru, Kenya | Advancing SDG 12, SDG 11 & UNAI 9

" I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it offers a unique platform to drive meaningful change and contribute to sustainable development goals. My work is fueled by a deep commitment to education and community empowerment, and I believe that through collaboration and innovation, we can create opportunities and build a brighter future for all. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Pick It Clean Kabarak (PICK)
This Project seeks to promote extended producer responsibility within Nakuru County. Due to insufficient bins and less segregated bins within the town and around school, most people end up littering. The project seeks to bridge the work done by recycling companies and the responsibility owed to the community by plastic producers. The main aim of the project is to establish segregated bins outside school.
