Millennium Fellowship Project: Lawlit Festival To Promote SDG 4
This proposal advocates for the establishment of a series of weekly literary festivals at the School of Law, University of Kashmir, in collaboration with Sehar Foundation, a section-8 company registered with Ministry of Corporate Affairs, which I established in June 2021. The initiative aims to integrate the transformative power of literature into legal education, fostering positive behavioural changes among students. The School of Law at the University of Kashmir recognizes the need for a holistic education that goes beyond legal doctrines. Literature, with its ability to provoke critical thinking and inspire empathy, presents an ideal avenue for nurturing well-rounded legal professionals and leaders. This proposal seeks to establish a weekly literary festival in collaboration with Sehar Foundation to create a platform for intellectual and creative discourse.
