" A sustainable world is something that every human must strive for; I have always been inclined towards the sustainability and the preservation of the resources of nature and through this fellowship I will receive proper guidance, and a platform to channelise these goals and mark a change in the society. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Aqua Renewal

The project focuses on the ecological restoration of Dal Lake, tackling challenges like pollution, invasive weeds, and waste management. Through community engagement, partnerships with NGOs, and scientific interventions, you've made significant strides in improving water quality, reducing solid waste, and combating invasive species.
Our achievements include:
Conducting water quality assessments to establish a baseline for improvement.
Organizing large-scale cleanliness drives that removed substantial waste.
Collaborating with stakeholders for educational workshops and awareness campaigns.
Piloting eco-friendly methods to control invasive aquatic vegetation.
Moving forward, our plans involve scaling up these initiatives, introducing advanced water treatment techniques, expanding community outreach, and enhancing weed control efforts. The project aligns strongly with several UN Sustainable Development Goals, emphasizing clean water, climate action, and community partnerships.
