" Since the age of 12, I always wanted to do something for the women of our society. Millennium Fellowship is the path which will lead me to my destination. It will help me understand how to make a change in the society by being globally active. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Imp 'ACT'
We aim to raise awareness about menstrual hygiene and the importance of overall hygiene. As part of our efforts, we distributed sanitary pads to women in hospitals who had recently delivered and engaged with underprivileged tribal women to discuss the significance of proper sanitation. Additionally, the capital city of India, Delhi, is facing severe pollution, with the AQI recently reaching 500, which is classified as hazardous. On top of this, there is an ongoing threat of dengue. To contribute to improving the situation, we distributed liquid handwashes to the underprivileged communities. Our primary focus is on promoting hygiene awareness, particularly regarding menstrual hygiene, while addressing broader sanitation challenges.
