Millennium Fellowship Project: Project 'Urja'
The Legal Awareness on Gender Equality project (Urja), conducted under the Millennium Fellowship, aimed to foster legal knowledge among youth regarding gender equality and anti-discrimination laws. Through a series of workshops, community outreach, and interactive sessions, the program sought to empower participants with knowledge of their legal rights and promote gender-sensitive practices.
About the Millennium Fellow
Gaurab Kandel is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Law and Management at Kathmandu University School of Law. With a keen interest in the intersection of legal studies and business management, Gaurab is dedicated to gaining a comprehensive understanding of both fields. This unique combination equips him with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate complex legal environments while making informed business decisions. Gaurab is passionate about enhancing legal knowledge at local level and aims to apply his academic insights to real-world challenges, particularly in emerging market like Nepal. He is committed to making a positive impact through innovative legal and business strategies, and is eager to contribute to the development of the legal and entrepreneurial landscape in his community.
