Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Prachodayan
Project Prachodayan in a long-term project with a vision of providing quality education to children in rural region. These resource-scarce regions carry a significant proportion of the population in the country, Nepal. Starting from the regions which have not been yet penetrated fully by economic, social and technological advancements, our project aims to engage with students from such regions and provide them with a sustainable platform through which they can access quality education materials and training to compete with the ever-changing world.
The project primarily focuses on empowering children of rural regions by providing them with means to access quality education.
About the Millennium Fellow
Subarna Bhattarai is a Computer Engineering undergraduate at Kathmandu University who is passionate about leveraging technology for goodwill of the society. Originally from Kathmandu, Nepal, he has been actively involved in projects that tackle real-world problems majorly focusing on education and reducing the division made by the technology. Subarna has led coding workshops for young students and organized programs which aimed at enhancing digital literacy in underprivileged communities. With a strong background in technology and a commitment to social justice, he aims to develop innovative solutions that promote digital inclusion and contribute to sustainable development in the future.
