King's College London | London, United Kingdom | Advancing SDG 4, SDG 10 & UNAI 3

" An impact on society can only be achieved when individuals of varying skill sets collaborate with one another and are driven by the same aim- the desire to change society. I believe that this is what the Millennium Fellowship is about, so I am excited to work amongst likeminded, determined individuals to make a difference. "

About the Millennium Fellow
Nana Kodua is a medical student at the university, King's College London, UK. Being a medical student, through her project, she'd like to ensure that education is available for all who share the same medical passion. As a black female, she recognises the gender and racial disparities in education, particularly healthcare, and she therefore aims to widen the participation of (BAME) females in the medical sector. She believes social impact begins with the local community and so in her past local communities, she has helped organise fundraisers for prevalent issues such as mental health and isolation in the community.
