United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Empathos Foundation

Our Millenium Fellowship project aims to tackle SDG 4 which is quality education. We will be suporting students from disadvantaged backgrounds to suppport aspiring healthcare students gain further insight about the application processes, entrance exams and insight into healthcare courses through Empathos Foundation. We believe in equality in education and everyone has the right to access education.

About the Millennium Fellow

Sabrina Shahid is a final year medical student at King's College London and founder and trustee of Empathos Foundation. Sabrina is passionate about widening participation and supporting aspiring healthcare students from underprivileged backgrounds, and advocating for equality in education globally. Sabrina is also passionate about relieving poverty worldwide through fundraising for different initiatives to help create a change. Sabrina aims to make a positive impact through the Millenium Fellowship and after it has been completed! During the Millenium Fellowship project, Sabrina aims to support aspiring healthcare students from underprivileged backgrounds, particularly BAME females.
