My project specific main goal raising awareness about Earth observation data, building skills and encouraging interest in the use of Geographic information System by the relevant if not all fields, and aligning with educational and sustainability SDGs. We are looking forward engage primary school students with basic geospatial concepts, secondary students with practical examples of Earth observation, and university students with more advanced applications like data analysis for real-world problem-solving. Our approach combines engaging seminars, workshops, and demonstrations that illustrate the uses of Earth observation data in monitoring deforestation, urban growth, and climate impacts. This format helps students see the real-world relevance of GIS, which motivates their interest in science and technology careers.
