United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Propel U

Propel U is a social impact project aimed at mentoring young learners in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Our mission is to bridge the educational gap in STEM by providing mentorship, skills training, and career guidance to young learners, empowering them to pursue opportunities in these fields. Through workshops, hands-on activities, and exposure to industry role models, Propel U aims to inspire the next generation of leaders in STEM.

About the Millennium Fellow

Davin Dawin Owino is a young lady with an enthusiasm for public service as she's pursing a course in bachelor of arts public Policy and Administration at Kenyatta university. She is a Kenyan by birth and currently resides in Nairobi county, Kenya. With her skills in creative problem solving, Davin looks forward to help her community come up with solutions that are of benefits to them in regards to the United Nations sustainable development goals. She looks forward to working hand in hand with her fellows to create a better community.
