" A meaningful life is measured not by our achievements, but by the positive impact we make on the lives of others. I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it offers a platform to collaborate with like-minded individuals dedicated to driving sustainable change. This fellowship empowers me to refine my skills and expand my impact, especially in advocating for mental wellness and supporting my community's needs. My passion lies in transforming lives and creating a healthier, more inclusive future for all. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Climate4ALL

Under the banner of Climate4All, we initiated a project to educate motorcycle riders around Kenyatta University in Kenya on climate change. Motorcycle riders, popularly known as "boda boda" operators, are key stakeholders in our community, often overlooked in climate education. The project addressed the knowledge gap on climate change and its effects on their livelihoods and environment. Our goals were to foster awareness, inspire environmentally responsible practices, and empower riders to act as climate change advocates. By engaging this group, we sought to create a ripple effect, reaching their families and customers, ultimately driving grassroots social impact in mitigating climate change.
