United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Propel U

Propel U is a social impact project aimed at mentoring young learners in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Our mission is to bridge the educational gap in STEM by providing mentorship, skills training, and career guidance to young learners, empowering them to pursue opportunities in these fields. Through workshops, hands-on activities, and exposure to industry role models, Propel U aims to inspire the next generation of leaders in STEM.

About the Millennium Fellow

Razoa Nanjala Kundu is a brilliant dynamic civil engineering student at Kenyatta University in Kenya with a fervent passion for empowering young women in STEM. As the Vice Chairperson of the Engineering Students Association, she has honed her leadership skills while advocating for her peers. Razoa's dedication to mentorship shines through her involvement in various initiatives, including mentoring students in both high schools and primary schools in rural areas.
Moreover, her role as a STEM trainer at the Women in STEAM Initiative underscores her commitment to bridging the gender gap in STEM. Through her training, she equips young women and girls with essential digital literacy skills, inspiring them to pursue careers in STEM fields. Razoa's infectious enthusiasm for mentoring is evident in her every endeavor.
Driven by her love for mentoring girls, Razoa is spearheading the PROPEL U initiative as part of her Millennium Fellowship 2024 project . She believes this project will have a profound and boundless impact on the lives of young women.
