Millennium Fellowship Project: Enhancing Community Resilience To Climate Change

The project for climate change and community adaptability, Enhancing Community Resilience to Climate was carried out together with fellow students and teammates at Kisii University to address the severe impacts the local community faces from climate change. The initiative aims to educate the community about climate change effects and promote adaptability measures such as sustainable agricultural practices and mitigation practices such as planting of trees. By fostering awareness and providing practical solutions, the initiative empowers members of the community to adapt to changing climatic conditions. This creates an impact by strengthening community bonds through collaborative efforts in sustainability. The project has impacted young leaders and youth and fostered their engagement in climate action initiatives.
