Millennium Fellowship Project: Avocating for Social Jusctice
This project encompasses the idea of advocating for social justice and empowering marginalized communities, that shall address the issues of discrimination and empowerment of the marginalized- communities through creating a safe, respectful and supportive environment that they can share or rather express their stories, opinions, and ideas judgment and discrimination. This can be accomplished through actively hearing the views of those who are marginalized, learning about their challenges and success, speaking up, supporting and empowering them by working alongside them to co-create creative, inclusive and long lasting solutions for the community. This will help give a voice to those who are often unheard in Decision- making process thus working towards a meaningful change.
About the Millennium Fellow
Molly M. is a final-year law student at Kisii University, where she is dedicated to her studies in law and social justice. Hailing from Kakamega, Kenya, she actively engages in community service forums and social organizations, advocating for social justice and equal rights. Her interests include reading classical literature, editing, and volunteering at events organized by social organizations, reflecting her commitment to personal growth, community involvement and it's involvement in decision making. She believes in doing hard things. Molly is passionate about making a positive impact in her community and beyond.
