United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Healthy Life Is A Happy Life

This project is centered on educating the public common non communicable diseases, their prevention, manifestations, when to see a health worker and their management but mostly concetrating on prevention and how to live a healthy life.

About the Millennium Fellow

Am Andrew mwesigye from Uganda 🇺🇬,I grew up up from the industrial area in western Uganda in small village which was over hardened with a number of diseases so growing up while witnessing such suffering of the young and old touched my heart and increased my passion for medicine and health care. Through this great fellowship and medical skills am inquiring from my time in the medical school I will make a positive contribution in treating the underprivileged groups and trying to bring awareness about the preventable non communicable diseases which I believe will improve the health status in the community and country at large.
