Millennium Fellowship Project: Medsearch Hub
MedSearch Hub is a community-based initiative addressing health disparities in rural Uganda. Our mission is to craft community-specific solutions through healthcare services and research, aligning with SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being. We provide free medical care, screenings, and treatment, while identifying gaps in healthcare services to inform future interventions.
About the Millennium Fellow
My name is ARINDA TRACY
I am a 24 year old, 5th year Medical Student at Kampala International University. I was born and raised in Mbarara in Uganda. I am currently serving as the vice president public relations and communications for the Federation of Uganda Medical Students Association (FUMSA) . More so, I use a proactive approach to problem-solving, spearheading initiatives aimed at raising awareness about various health issues like antimicrobial resistance, climate-associated health risks and promoting sustainable practices.
I am also a vocal advocate for social and environmental justice. With a strong foundation in medical science and a passion for advocacy, I am poised to make a meaningful contribution in my community. I look forward to collaborating with fellow delegates and experts to explore innovative solutions and drive positive change on a global scale.
