United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: The School of Financial Liberty
The School of Financial Liberty is a project which aims at improving the livelihood of people through holistic education, industrialization and technology.
The project begun with the establishment of farms to help provide food, which is the basic necessary of life for selected students in Ghana.
Currently, 157 students in 2 regions in Ghana have been served so far.
Beneficiaries are coached, guided and supported financially to enable a successful completion of their basic school education.
Career mentorship and monitoring continues until they graduate High School or college.
After High School, graduates will be given paid internship opportunities in technical and vocational institutions, farms, and food processing industries established by the School of Financial Liberty.
Beneficiaries will finally be given the opportunity to either remain with the School of Financial Liberty or pursue their preferred ambitions in life.
About the Millennium Fellow
Elkanah Jehu-Appiah is a level 300 student at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He is a Ghanaian, born on 15th July 1997, in the Central Region of Ghana. In his pursuit for making positive social impact in his community, Elkanah contributed to the increase in literacy rate in adults, through adults education, at the non-formal education sector of Ghana. As a past laboratory technician and radiographer assistant, Elkanah did not only teach reading and writing in adults, he also sensitized them on living a healthy life, by living in clean environment. Elkanah's passion for positive social impact keeps increasing everyday and he is looking for a platform, community and the voice to amplify his philanthropic threshold and capacity.
