United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Joining the fellowship, I envision to learn about how to raise a community that see themselves as a potential and can build resilience with their resources. The action is now and it begins with us. Millennium Fellowship Project: Enhancing Climate Literacy

The project was dubbed "Enhancing Climate literacy: the role of all adults in our neighborhoods" was to ensure that individuals within the adult bracket becomes enlightened about climate and serves as agent of promoting the literacy in other to build resilience.

About the Millennium Fellow

Eric Nortey is a bright a and self motivated student at the Kwame NKrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana. He was born in Eastern region, Ghana. Currently, he's pursuing his bachelor of Science degree in Development Planning after which he envision to contribute to the global society and have a positive impacts on the people around. Eric is passionate about environmental sustainability and climate change resilient, he has engaged in activities that promotes restoration of natural environment through a tree planting exercise and advocacy . Eric Nortey understands that the global society can be made better to adapt to climate change when people become literate about the change in climate. As such he is passionate and willing to learn from others from diverse backgrounds on how resilient neighborhoods be built through literacy so as to contribute to the global goals.
