United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Non Communicable Diseases Awareness Initiative

Project Title: Non Communicable Diseases Awareness Initiative Objective: To raise awareness about Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), promote healthy lifestyles, and support the prevention and management of NCDs in communities.
Target Audience: General public, with a focus on vulnerable populations (i.e the youth)

About the Millennium Fellow

Gloria Marfo a dedicated individual, cherishes quality time with her loved ones. She was born in Kumasi, Ghana and she is currently studying Bachelor of laws at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. She aspires to be a lawyer and also an ambassador for Non-Communicable Diseases which is why she takes this opportunity as a lead. She finds joy in planning exciting activities and creating lasting memories with her family. Gloria's passion for meaningful connections and memorable experiences reflects in her interactions and daily life. In the eyes of others, Gloria Marfo embodies a spirit of gratitude, love for humanity and a zest for life.
