United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Wellness for All

This project was aimed at assessing some mental health issues that students within the college of health sciences are facing and yet they didn't know that they were victims of which was largely due to their busy schedule and most not knowing how to balance their school and other areas of their lives properly

About the Millennium Fellow

Faleke Micheal Kayode is a bright young undergraduate student studing veterinary medicine at the Kwame Nkuruma University of Science and Technology., He was born in Nigeria but currenty resides in Kumasi, Ghana. and for some time now or rather since the pandemic he has been passionate about the mental health of others having known what it means to go through mental health issues, this drive has enabled him to be part of the International Veterinary Students Association (IVSA) as an ambassador for the standing committee on wellness and also on a personal basis always checking up on people within and out of his department and just generally being concerned with others well being. Micheal aspires to be in a professional space where he can further reach and meet people and contribute to their wellbeing and also contribute his quota in the development of the United Nations Sustainable Goals.
