Millennium Fellowship Project: Women'S Iron Deficiency Awareness Initiative

The Women’s Iron Deficiency Awareness Initiative whose vision is “Creating a future where iron deficiency is no longer a barrier to women’s health and well-being in Uganda, through widespread education”, emerges as a critical project aimed at addressing iron deficiency among women of reproductive age. This initiative not only raises awareness about iron deficiency but also empowers women through education and community engagement.

About the Millennium Fellow

Felister Acipa is a bright, young and enthusiastic lady who is also intelligent and ready to learn. She was born and raised in Uganda and is currently pursuing a bachelor's of science in Human Nutrition and Dietetics at Kyambogo University, in her fourth year.
Felister has always yearned to create a positive impact in the world and this might just be a prayer answered.
She hopes to work with and learn from several other fellows along this journey in hope of making the world a better place.
