United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 52,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2024 on 6,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 280+ campuses worldwide (just 5%) were selected to host the 4,000+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Wiggle Waggle Fun

The Wiggle Waggle Fun project is a community-driven initiative designed to promote the emotional, social, and physical well-being of children from all backgrounds through engaging recreational activities. Centered around bouncing castles and other playful setups, the project creates safe and joyful spaces for children to explore, connect, and thrive.

About the Millennium Fellow

Mushumba Mark Mugisha, a Ugandan student at Kyambogo University, is a distinguished and internationally competitive person, known for his intelligence and bright potential. For as long as he can remember, Mark has always been passionate about creating an impact in his community that will make the world a better place for all age brackets. Throught his study, he has been involved in various leadership trainings as well as positions. These have made him a great team player with outstanding integrity. Driven by his thirst for knowledge, Mark finds it interesting to learn from the experiences of those who have succeeded in their professions. Apart from his professional field of study, Mark aspires to create tech solutions for the diverse problems affecting people's wellbeing, thus contributing to the development of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals
