Millennium Fellowship Project: Be BP Smart
BE BP SMART is a public health initiative that advances SDG 3. It is focused on combating hypertension, a silent killer affecting millions globally. The project aims to raise awareness about hypertension, promote lifestyle modifications, and facilitate early detection through free blood pressure screenings. By combining education with action, BE BP SMART empowers individuals to take control of their health and reduces the risk of complications associated with high blood pressure.
About the Millennium Fellow
Iluyomade Damilola, a medical doctor in training with a passion for making a difference in education and healthcare. As a seasoned student leader, I've served in various capacities, including as Public Relations Officer and General Secretary of the Medical Student Association at LASUCOM and NIMSA,FAMSA AND IFMSA. My experiences have fueled my commitment to disseminating quality education and promoting good health and well-being. Through numerous medical outreach programs, I've witnessed firsthand impact as regards access to healthcare in communities. As a public speaker, I've had the privilege of sharing insights on capacity building, health education and sexual and reproductive health, addressing crucial issues that affect individuals and communities. I'm dedicated to leveraging my skills and experiences to drive positive change and improve the lives of others.
