Millennium Fellowship Project: Healing Hands Haven

Healing Hands Haven is a Millennium Fellowship project and a mental health initiative dedicated to supporting the mental health of healthcare professionals by providing a safe, restorative space to recharge & reconnect, learn stress management skills, and sustain empathy-ultimately elevating patient care.
Our mission aligns with SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), to improve the healthcare experience for professionals and patients alike.

About the Millennium Fellow

Goodness Adejare Animasahun is a driven 5th-year medical student at Lagos State University College of Medicine. Born in Jos, Nigeria, and now residing in Lagos, she is passionate about empathy and mental health advocacy. Her experiences within the healthcare system as a medical student and also a relative of admitted patients have fueled her commitment to creating a supportive environment that preserves the dignity and well-being of both patients and healthcare professionals. Dedicated, goal-driven, and disciplined, Goodness is committed to making meaningful change. She aspires to be part of a community that offers a platform to advance her aspirations and share innovative solutions, contributing towards the achievement of United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
