" I'm excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it offers a great platform to grow as a leader and also work with passionate young people who are also committed to making a significant impact. My work in addressing the blood shortage crisis and increased health care access in Nigeria is deeply personal—after losing my uncle due to a lack of available blood and poor health care access, I became determined to help as many people as I can to avoid the same fate. Through the Fellowship, I aim to amplify these efforts and inspire others to join in creating a healthier world. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Be BP Smart

BE BP SMART is a public health initiative that advances SDG 3. It is focused on combating hypertension, a silent killer affecting millions globally. The project aims to raise awareness about hypertension, promote lifestyle modifications, and facilitate early detection through free blood pressure screenings. By combining education with action, BE BP SMART empowers individuals to take control of their health and reduces the risk of complications associated with high blood pressure.
